Accura has assisted the US-based private equity fund Lone Star Capital with the acquisition of STARK, the retailer and distributor of building materials that operates stores in Denmark, Greenland and Finland. The transaction also includes Beijer Byggmaterial in Sweden and Neumann Bygg in Norway.
The purchase price has been disclosed at approx. DKK 7.7bn.
STARK operates 70 stores in Denmark and the customers are predominantly in the professional segment. The chain employs more than 2,000 employees.
