The Danish fitness platform Lenus has received a record-breaking venture investment from the international venture fund EQT Ventures.
The total investment amounts to EUR 52m and is the largest series A investment in Danish history so far. EQT Ventures invests EUR 50m.
Lenus is a software-based platform targeted at personal trainers, dietitians and nutritionists. The platform offers an all-in-one solution digitalising all stages of the client-trainer relationship, e.g. ongoing communication, meal plans and workout plans.
The capital injection will be used for developing and scaling the platform, hiring more than 1,600 employees all over the world, strengthening the presence on existing markets and accelerating the international expansion.
Today, Lenus has offices in six countries in Europe and, as a result of the investment, Lenus will also open offices in New York and Los Angeles.
Accura advised Lenus and the existing group of owners in connection with this investment.
