Knitting for Olive has been sold to Norwegian investment company Hawk Infinity.
Knitting for Olive was founded in 2015 by mother and daughter Pernille and Caroline as a hobby project focused on knitting patterns. In 2016, the company began producing its own yarn, and in 2018, it opened its first physical store in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen. Since then, a store has also opened in Aarhus.
In 2022, Alexander, Pernille’s son and Caroline’s brother, joined the management team as CEO and co-owner. Today, Knitting for Olive is a recognised premium yarn and knitting pattern company with a global customer base and an international community of more than 700,000 knitters.
