Polaris’s portfolio company G&O Maritime Group has acquired Hans Jensen Lubricators.
Hans Jensen Lubricators is the leading global supplier of advanced cylinder lubrication systems for 2-stroke marine engines and has its own development, production and service organisation.
The Hans Jensen family has owned Hans Jensen Lubricators since its formation in 1917, and the current management is the fourth generation in the company. The company has 87 employees at the headquarters in Hadsund, Denmark, and at offices in Singapore and Shanghai.
Hans Jensen Lubricators continues under its own name as part of G&O Maritime Group. The current owners will keep an ownership interest of approx. 15% of the company.
G&O Maritime Group is a leading supplier of niche products for the maritime industry, including shipping companies, shipyards and engine manufacturers. The company was acquired by the private equity fund Polaris in 2021.
