The Danish robotics business OnRobot has secured a triple-digit million kroner investment from the global private equity fund Summit Partners. Summit Partners invests in OnRobot together with the Danish Growth Fund and OnRobot’s CEO Enrico Krog Iversen.
OnRobot develops grippers for robot arms, and the company intends to use the capital injection primarily for acquiring similar businesses to secure OnRobot a position as a strong global player in end-of-arm tooling.
OnRobot was formed in 2015 and merged with Hungarian Optoforce and US Perception Robotics in 2018. Accura also provided legal assistance in that process.
Accura advised OnRobot on the investment.
