The German-based catering provider apetito has acquired Det Danske Madhus. The sellers are the private equity fund Polaris and the founders of Det Danske Madhus.
Det Danske Madhus is Denmark’s leading provider of nutritious food for the elderly. The company serves more than 115,000 freshly made meals each week based on the Danish traditional food culture to approx. 20,000 people. apetito’s customers include 93 Danish municipalities.
Det Danske Madhus was formed in 2003 and, today, employs more than 200 people.
