The Danish food business operator Geia Food has been sold to the international private equity fund Triton Partners.
The sellers include the Norwegian private equity fund Credo Partners and the three original founders.
Geia Food is one of Scandinavia’s largest commercial businesses within the food industry. The company develops and supplies food concepts throughout Scandinavia and generates an annual revenue of approx. DKK 2bn.
The customers primarily include supermarket chains in Scandinavia, and Geia Food has offices in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.
The completion of the transaction is subject to merger approval by the relevant competition authorities.
