Together, the private equity funds FSN Capital and Verdane have made a strategic investment of approx. EUR 135m in Polytech.
Polytech is a global leader on sophisticated systems improving the durability and performance of wind turbines, including lightning protection, leading edge protection, sensor technology, transportation of wind turbine components and subsea solutions. The company’s solutions are used on more than 60% of all wind turbine blades produced globally.
Polytech was formed in 1994 and today employs approx. 500 people at offices in Denmark, China, Germany and Mexico.
FSN Capital is a leading Northern European private equity fund with more than USD 4bn of assets under management and offices in Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Munich.
The transaction is subject to approval from the relevant authorities.
