Ekstra Bladet takes over Denmark’s largest football news provider bold.dk.
Bold.dk keeps football-loving Danes up to date on the latest news in the world of football in Denmark and abroad. The website went in the air in 1999 and is today Denmark’s fifth largest digital news medium with more than 600,000 monthly visitors and more than 650 million site viewings in the past year.
Ekstra Bladet is part of JP/Politiken Media Group and is one of Denmark’s leading news media with close to 1 million daily users.
The acquisition of bold.dk reinforces Ekstra Bladet’s position within football coverage and is a crucial milestone in the ambition to be a digital leader in the Danish media landscape. Bold.dk will continue as a separate medium under Ekstra Bladet’s ownership.
