The Norwegian private equity firm Driv Kapital has concluded an agreement to acquire a majority stake in SERWIZ, a Danish facility management company which provides services to businesses in Denmark.
As part of the transaction, SERWIZ is acquiring Kongsvang Cleaning & Facility, a company that primarily provides commercial cleaning services to clients in the private and public sectors. Kongsvang has more than 1,000 employees.
SERWIZ, whose roots date back to 1997, employs more than 2,000 people who, among other things, provide cleaning and canteen services to large and medium-sized businesses throughout Denmark. The existing management team at SERWIZ will continue as co-owners under Driv Kapital’s ownership.
Driv Kapital was founded in 2021 and is a mid-market investor in the Scandinavian market, focusing primarily on business services, software, and IT companies. Driv Kapital currently has capital commitments totalling NOK 3.5 billion.
With the investment, Driv Kapital aims to support SERWIZ’s continued growth and further development as a platform for further consolidation in the Danish facility management market.
