Domus Forsikring A/S (“Domus Forsikring”) has entered into an agreement with DARAG Deutschland AG (“DARAG”) to transfer its entire insurance portfolio comprising change of ownership insurance and construction defect insurance.
DARAG is an international insurance and reinsurance company specialising in the acquisition and management of insurance portfolios in run-off. The agreement forms part of the winding-up of Domus Forsikring and means that DARAG will assume the rights and obligations arising from the insurance policies.
Completion of the transaction is subject to a number of customary conditions, including relevant regulatory approvals, and is expected to take place by the end of 2026.
