Credo Partners sells Denmark’s largest wine company

The private equity fund Credo Partners and the founder team have sold the Danish wine company Globus Wine to the Finnish wine and spirits supplier Anora for close to DKK 600 million.

Globus Wine has created a successful wine business by selling its own wine brands. Globus Wine also has the largest capacity in Northern Europe offering filling services to international wineries and wine importers. Two thirds of the revenue come from Globus Wine’s own brands.

Globus Wine was formed in 2006 and has approx. 140 employees.

With the acquisition, Anora becomes a market leader in Denmark and strengthens its position as the leading wine supplier in the Nordic countries.
