Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners launches new company dedicated to developing energy islands globally

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (“CIP”) has launched Copenhagen Energy Islands, which will build on CIP’s long-standing experience and expertise within offshore wind to develop energy islands globally; energy islands which will contribute to the massive scaling that is essential to ensuring the next generation of offshore wind deployment globally.

Copenhagen Energy Islands is dedicated to the early development stages and is currently focusing on ten energy island projects in the North Sea, the Baltic Sea and in South-East Asia. The newly launched company’s head office is located in Copenhagen, Denmark, and CIP is the majority owner of Copenhagen Energy Islands. Read more about the project here.
