Communardo Group (“Communardo”), a portfolio company owned by funds advised by BU Bregal Unternehmerkapital and the leading Atlassian partner in Northern Europe, has entered into an agreement to acquire Aety, a specialised Atlassian consulting and implementation firm headquartered in Copenhagen.
The acquisition strengthens Communardo’s Nordic platform. Following the transaction, Aety will be integrated into Communardo Nordics, bringing the organisation to approximately 100 Atlassian specialists across Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. The transaction follows the integrations of Stretch Addera in May 2025 and Ambientia’s Atlassian business in January 2026.
Aety was founded in 2016 by four former IT consultants from the Danish National Police and brings an established customer base and capabilities within IT service management, cloud migration and the Danish public sector. The transaction relates solely to Aety’s Atlassian business, while the company’s monday.com activities will be separated prior to completion of the transaction and will continue to operate independently.
