The Danish private equity fund Capidea has acquired a controlling interest in Right People Group. Right People Group is an IT freelance consultancy providing high-quality, external IT and business consultants by connecting organisations in need of a more agile workforce with the right people for project-based IT assignments.
Right People Group is present in seven European countries, employs 31 people and, right now, has more than 400 consultants on active projects. The existing management will continue as major minority shareholders in their present roles.
Capidea primarily makes long-term investments in competitive small and medium-sized Danish businesses and has total committed capital of approx. DKK 3.6 billion. Since its formation in 2006, Capidea has acquired 26 businesses, and the investment in Right People Group is the first one in Capidea’s latest fund, Capidea Kapital IV.
