An investor group headed by Butterfly Ventures has invested in the Danish software provider RiACT Robotics. The other investors are Navigare Ventures and Mølgaard Capital.
RiACT Robotics is behind the universal software solution RiFLEX, which makes it possible to control and communicate with all types of robots. The purpose of the platform is to render robot operations less complex by standardising the connection between robot components while making it easy to replace existing parts and to add new ones. The first version of the software was launched in 2022 and will hit several markets in 2023 and 2024.
Finnish Butterfly Ventures is among the leading seed-stage venture capitalists in the Nordic countries, investing primarily in deep-tech and hardware innovation.
One of the aims of the investment is to accelerate the development and commercial roll-out of RiFLEX.
