The global private equity fund Bridgepoint has acquired the Danish defence company MyDefence. The management of MyDefence has reinvested in the company.
MyDefence is a leading provider of counter drone technology, also known as unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS), developing innovative radio frequency-powered products to detect and defeat drones. The company’s products may be worn by personnel or mounted to vehicles and buildings, and, for example, may be used to protect critical infrastructure.
Bridgepoint is part of Bridgepoint Group plc., which is one of the world’s leading quoted private asset growth investors with more than EUR 41bn under management.
