Birch Ejendomme sold to international asset manager

The building and rental company Birch Ejendomme has been sold to the international asset manager Aermont Capital.

Birch Ejendomme develops and constructs properties all over Denmark, offering newly-built quality rentals such as townhouses and flats. The company was formed in 2010, is headquartered in Silkeborg, Denmark, and has 300 employees.

Owner and majority shareholder René Birch and co-owners Kenneth Biirsdahl and Thomas Bøgild-Jakobsen are selling their equity interests and will withdraw from the ownership, while the partners Thomas Bertelsen and Peder Østergaard will continue as owners and will constitute the management.

Aermont Capital is an independent asset manager managing an aggregate of DKK 68bn. The investment in Birch Ejendomme is Aermont Capital’s first investment in Denmark.
