Deerland Holdings Inc. owned by the private equity fund RoundTable Healthcare Partners has acquired the Danish company Bifodan. As part of the transaction, several of the sellers will reinvest part of the purchase price in Deerland Holdings Inc.
Bifodan was formed in 1987 and has developed, manufactured and marketed probiotic dietary supplements and OTC products as private labels since 1996.
RoundTable Healthcare Partners is an American private equity fund founded in 2001 focusing exclusively on the health care industry.
The transaction was completed on 31 October 2019.
