Belgian CRM specialist acquires webCRM

Belgian Efficy has acquired the Danish CRM success webCRM. The seller is the original founder of webCRM, Jørgen Rode, who has sold it through his holding company JRO Holding.

webCRM provides cloud-based CRM solutions particularly to small and medium-sized businesses. Their solutions are used by wide range of industries in need of efficient ways to organise all of their customer relationships.

webCRM was formed in 2005 and has 40 employees in Denmark and Sweden. Today, the business has more than 3,500 customers in 20 different countries.

Efficy is a leading European CRM provider majority-owned by the private equity fund Fortino Capital Partners. With this acquisition, Efficy now has about 300 employees in 11 different offices in Europe. This transaction marks Efficy’s sixth acquisition in only 6 years.

With this acquisition, Efficy gets a foot in the door to the Scandinavian market, and its ambition is to reach a 5% market share of the European CRM market by 2024.
