Basalt Infrastructure Partners LLP (“Basalt”) has acquired Reconor Group (“Reconor”) from Agilitas Private Equity LLP.
Reconor is Denmark’s leading provider of sustainable environmental logistics and resource solutions contributing to the circular economy and operating across the waste management value chain.
Through its two subsidiaries City Container and Norrecco, Reconor delivers sustainable solutions within collection, transport, handling and upcycling of construction and demolition waste, commercial and industrial waste as well as soil handling and operation of own soil recovery projects to make sure that industrial and construction companies meet the high Danish standards of responsible and environmentally safe waste recycling.
Basalt is an international private equity fund with a transatlantic focus on investments in medium-sized infrastructure businesses within transport, power and utilities. This is Basalt’s first transaction in Denmark.
The transaction is subject to the approval by the Danish competition authorities.
