The private equity fund Axcel has acquired the logistics companies DANX and Carousel.
The two companies will be merged to create a pan-European logistics provider, specialising in express delivery of mission-critical spare parts to European businesses.
DANX is a Danish logistics company specialised in delivering spare parts via trucks and vans to customers in Scandinavia and the Baltic region.
Carousel is a logistics company based in Great Britain. The company specialises in deliveries to the European market via aircraft.
A merger of the two companies will create a strong logistics group. With a substantial presence in Europe, the group will be able to offer deliveries, covering the entire value chain of large international industrial and manufacturing businesses in several fields.
The transaction is subject to approval from the authorities.
