Alm. Brand has launched a rights issue, offering 1,387,026,000 new shares with a subscription price of DKK 7.55 each.
The new shares are offered with pre-emption rights to the company’s existing shareholders.
The offering is fully underwritten by an underwriting syndicate consisting of a series of domestic and international banks.
The vast majority of the proceeds of DKK 10.47bn will be used to finance the acquisition of Codan’s business which was acquired by Alm. Brand in June 2021.
