The Danish industrial business LIP Bygningsartikler has been sold to Bostik who is a global market leader within the sale and manufacturing of adhesives and sealing solutions. Bostik has more than 5,000 employees in 50 countries.
LIP Bygningsartikler is based in Funen, Denmark, and has approx. 50 employees. The business is leading in Scandinavia within the development and manufacturing of tile adhesives, joint filler and similar products for the construction industry and DIY centres. The manufacturing takes place at a high-tech, fully automated plant in Nørre Aaby, Denmark.
As a result of the acquisition of LIP Bygningsartikler, Bostik strengthens its product portfolio and market position in the Nordic region.
Bostik is owned by the conglomerate Arkema who has an annual revenue of more than DKK 60bn and employs 20,000 persons in 55 countries.
