The private equity fund Norvestor’s portfolio company VENI Energy Group, with head office in Norway, has acquired Energi Team ApS, Denmark’s largest energy broker.
Founded in 2011, Energi Team has established a strong position in the Danish market, focusing on market insights, strategic advice and efficient energy management. The company annually mediates approximately 8 TWh of energy for a broad portfolio of corporate and industrial clients.
VENI Energy Group is a leading energy services provider across the Nordic region, Germany and Spain, helping companies use energy more efficiently while sourcing energy for more than 40,000 customers.
With the transaction, VENI Energy Group expands its European presence from five to six countries and strengthens its position in the European energy management market. Following the acquisition, VENI Energy Group sources more than 20 TWh of energy on behalf of its customers every year.
