The shareholders of SiteCover have sold the company to Kirk Kapital.
SiteCover rents out patented, self-supporting modular shelter solutions for construction sites, providing full protection against rain and wind. The structure is self-supporting and can reach heights of up to 30 metres and span entire construction sites, and it is also equipped with travelling cranes integrated in the roof structure for lifting operations. Customers include employers such as A.P. Møller Maersk, Novo Nordisk, the Danish Chamber of Commerce and NREP.
SiteCover was founded in 2012 by Jacob Maintz and Claus Vilhelm Hansen. Jacob Maintz and Martin Svane will continue as co-owners of the acquiring company and as CEO and COO of the company, respectively. The selling shareholders include private investors Svend Erik Kriby and Claus Vilhelm Hansen as well as Welfare Tech Invest.
Kirk Kapital is a family-owned investment company with a long-term focus on strategic minority investments in market-leading companies in Scandinavia. The company was founded by the Kirk Johansen family, descendants of LEGO founder Ole Kirk Christiansen. Kirk Kapital has 18 active strategic investments and manages approximately EUR 3.5 billion.
With the investment, Kirk Kapital wants to support SiteCover’s great growth potential and accelerate growth further in the coming years.
