PenSam has entered into a new partnership with Allianz Global Investors (“AllianzGI”), focusing on infrastructure. The partnership includes an initial mandate of DKK 2.2 billion for investments over a three-year period with the expectation of continued investments after that. The investments are expected to be allocated to global infrastructure projects with a particular focus on Europe.
PenSam is a Danish labour market pension fund, providing occupational pension to wage-earners performing core tasks in the Danish welfare society, primarily in municipalities but also in regions and private businesses.
AllianzGI is a leading asset manager with more than 700 investment professionals across 20 offices. The company has total assets under management of more than EUR 562 billion.
