PenSam has entered a new partnership with Queensland Investment Corporation, focusing on European investments in unlisted businesses within private equity and infrastructure. PenSam has allocated DKK 2.2bn which will be invested over a three-year period, and the investments will be made through European asset managers.
PenSam is a Danish labour market pension fund, providing occupational pension to wage-earners performing core tasks in the Danish welfare society, primarily in municipalities, but also in regions and private businesses.
Queensland Investment Corporation focuses on alternative quality assets within infrastructure, real estate and private equity. The company was founded in 1991 and is owned by the state Queensland in Australia.
