The pan-European label printing company Optimum Group has acquired the Danish printing company the FlexoPrint Group from Capidea.
The FlexoPrint Group is among the leading producers of self-adhesive labels in Northern Europe. The labels are primarily used for the labelling of fast-moving consumer goods and for logistics purposes. The group of customers includes producers of food and beverages, large retail chains, and distributors of labels.
The FlexoPrint Group employs 110 people, is headquartered in Randers in Denmark, and has a subsidiary in Germany.
The Optimum Group is a label printing group with 12 member companies, and the group is one of Europe’s leading producers of self-adhesive labels and flexible packaging solutions. As a result of the acquisition of the FlexoPrint Group, the Optimum Group now has operations in the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark and Germany. The investment in the FlexoPrint Group is the Optimum Group’s fifth acquisition since 2018.
The Optimum Group is owned by the private equity fund IK Investment Partners.
