Nordic Climate Group, a portfolio company of Altor Equity Partners, adds another company to its Danish portfolio with the acquisition of Kølegruppen A/S, further strengthening its position in Denmark.
Kølegruppen A/S is a nationwide service business, offering service, repair, replacement and maintenance of all types of cooling systems and heat pumps for industrial customers, bakeries and hotels. The business consists of the headquarter in Silkeborg, Denmark, which handles the activities in Jutland; Kølegruppen Øst A/S, which handles the activities in Copenhagen and on Zealand; and Bundgaard Køleteknik in Vejle, Denmark, which covers the entire country with its specialised solutions within environmentally friendly propane systems and water cooling.
Nordic Climate Group was formed in 2021 and shows revenue of SEK 5 billion and has approx. 1,850 employees working from over 100 local businesses in the Nordic region. Since Nordic Climate Group made its first acquisition in Denmark in May 2023, it has acquired several businesses with the assistance of Accura. Following the acquisition of Kølegruppen A/S, Nordic Climate Group now has 12 Danish businesses with approx. 250 employees.
