The owners of the Danish software business Nextway has sold the business to the Dutch private equity fund Main Capital Partners (“Main capital”). Some of the owners and members of management have reinvested.
Nextway offers Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions for digitalisation and automation business processes and provides services to large and medium-sized businesses within insurance, finance and similar industries.
Nextway has roots back to 1986 and, today, has more than 3,000 customers in 65 countries and an international team of employees across Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Finland and Norway. The management of Nextway will continue in their current positions.
Main Capital is a leading software investor managing investment funds with activities in Europe and North America. Main Capital’s extensive sector knowledge and more than 20 years of experience will now help Nextway in expanding to new markets and initiating a new buy-and-build approach.
