The Danish company M&J Airlaid Products A/S has been sold to the global Swedish group Mölnlycke Health Care AB.

M&J Airlaid Products A/S is market leader within the development and manufacture of absorbent fabric and textiles which are used, for example, to manufacture plasters and compression bandages etc.

Mölnlycke Health Care AB is a global leader within pharmaceutical products and solutions, including products for wound care and treatment. The acquisition of M&J Airlaid Products A/S will strengthen Mölnlycke Health Care AB’s market position within the sale and manufacture of advanced products for wound care.

Mölnlycke Health Care AB is headquartered in Göteborg in Sweden, exports to more than 100 countries and employs 7,800 employees worldwide.
