The American software company MarketMuse has been sold to Siteimprove.
MarketMuse has developed a strategy platform based on artificial intelligence that helps companies optimise their content by streamlining the process from idea to publication focusing on effective search engine optimisation (SEO). This not only ensures that content is well-written but also strategically optimised for user intent, traditional search engines and AI-powered search systems such as ChatGPT.
Siteimprove is a leading business within website optimisation with more than 7,500 customers worldwide. The business was formed in Copenhagen in 2003 and has more than 600 employees today. In 2020, the private equity fund Nordic Capital acquired a majority stake in the business.
With the acquisition of MarketMuse, Siteimprove now offers an all-in-one solution integrating SEO, advertisements, content strategy and performance analysis.
