Greater Copenhagen Residential acquires Akeleje Hus in Valby

Norwegian Greater Copenhagen Residential (“GCR”) has made a new property investment, acquiring Akeleje Hus in Valby, Denmark, from Swedish Heimstaden Bostad, which has owned the property since its construction in 2020.

Akeleje Hus is an 18-storey building and has a central location in Valby’s new district Grønttorvet. The property has 189 micro dwellings ranging from 34 to 63m2. The property also includes a business lease with 27 parking spaces and an attractive rooftop terrace overlooking the city.

GCR is a Norwegian joint-venture partnership between the property company Lille Oslo Eiendom from Oslo and the fishing company Strand Havfiske from Ålesund, Norway. Together they aim to build a residential platform with focus on high-quality newly built properties in Greater Copenhagen.
