The Danish underwriter agency DUPI Underwriting Agencies Nordics (“DUA Nordics”) has been sold to HBC Group, a leading insurance distribution platform in Europe.
Founded in 2017, DUA Nordics has become a key provider of marine hull and renewable energy insurance in Denmark. As a Lloyd’s Coverholder, the company collaborates with a well-established network of brokers across the Nordics and brings strong expertise in underwriting, claims handling under the Nordic Plan and disciplined risk management.
DUA Nordics is part of DUPI Group B.V., which is owned by SMABTP Group, a leading French insurer in the construction and property industry.
With this transaction, HBC Group further strengthens its international marine expertise and expands its presence in the Nordic region.
