The Danish welfare group Carelink Gruppen has sold a minority stake of just over 20% to the European social impact fund Impact Partners.
Carelink Gruppen is Denmark’s largest provider of welfare services, operating across a wide range of healthcare and care offerings, including staffing solutions, elderly care and social services. The group is owned by the investment company Dansk Generationsskifte.
Impact Partners was founded in 2007 as the first European platform dedicated to impact investing, aiming to create measurable and significant social impact for vulnerable populations. Headquartered in Paris, Impact Partners has subsidiaries in Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Milan, and Barcelona and manages more than EUR 500m.
With the investment, Carelink Gruppen receives new capital to support its continued growth and ambitions, particularly within elderly care, where further acquisitions are planned in the coming years.
