The Danish welfare group Carelink Gruppen has sold a minority stake of just over 20% to the European social impact private equity fund Impact Partners.
Carelink Gruppen is Denmark’s largest provider of welfare services and operates within a wide range of health and care services, including staffing solutions, elderly care and social services. Carelink Gruppen is owned by the investment company Dansk Generationsskifte.
Impact Partners was founded in 2007 as the first European platform dedicated to impact investments that aim to create measurable and significant social impact for vulnerable populations. Impact Partners is headquartered in Paris with subsidiaries in Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Milan and Barcelona and manages more than EUR 500 million.
The investment will provide Carelink Gruppen with new capital to support the group’s continued growth and ambitions, especially in the elderly care sector, with plans for further acquisitions in the coming years.
