Encode sold to Norwegian private equity fund

The Danish software company Encode has been sold to the Norwegian private equity fund Viking Venture.

Encode supplies digital marketing solutions to retail businesses and advertising and marketing agencies etc. The company’s cloud-based solutions optimise customers’ marketing efforts by digitalising the overall marketing workflow and improving efficiency in the creation of content for various media.

Encode was founded in 2001. The company has five offices worldwide, including in London and Madrid, and is headquartered in Odense, Denmark.

Viking Venture is a Norwegian private equity fund specialised in investments in Nordic software businesses.

The purpose of the sale to Viking Venture is for Encode to strengthen its market position and continue the growth journey which the company has experienced in the past years.
