140 MW solar park in Denmark reaches ready-to-build status

German Encavis, a producer of electricity from renewable energies, and Danish greentech company GreenGo Energy reaches ready-to-build (RTB) status on 140 MW solar park in Brønderslev, Denmark. The project is one of the largest solar parks to reach this milestone in Denmark.

Once completed, it will provide subsidy-free renewable energy that will be sold directly to an industrial customer under a long-term power purchase agreement, expected to last ten years.

It’s the second project from the more than 500 MW strategic development partnership of solar projects in Denmark between Encavis and GreenGo Energy.

GreenGo Energy is an innovative greentech company with offices in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Poland, and the United States. Since 2011, GreenGo Energy has worked towards accelerating the green transformation through an innovative and scalable business model based on solar energy.

GreenGo Energy now has more than 8 GW of energy projects in various stages of development and construction in selected U.S. states and Northern Europe.
